With the help of dedicated volunteers, Gateway Homeless Services encourages learning and hands on support for the clients residing in the shelter. Course topics include, Resume Writing, Office Etiquette, Job Retention, Nutrition, GED Review, the Successful Look, and more.

Career Realities-Investing In Homeless Women, is an innovative pilot program that seeks to inspire the clients by taking what is taught in the life skills classes and enhancing the application through hands on savvy demonstration.

Serving Our Sisters (SOS), is sponsored by Washington University and Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, and focuses on empowering underserved women.

Our nutritional classes are taught four days a week through the University of Missiouri Extention Family Nutrition Education Program (FNEP). These classes are designed to bring the latest nutritional information to impoverished individuals.
