We are the largest 24-hour emergency shelter for homeless single women and families in the St. Louis bi-state region. More than 50 homeless families each year are placed in permanent and transitional housing with long-term follow-up services.

Gateway is part of the St. Louis City Continuum of Care and works with other agencies within this network to place clients from our family shelter into viable transitional and permanent housing programs. Some of our partners include: St. Louis Transitional Hope House, Salvation Army St. Michael's, Salvation Army Temple Corp, Good Samaritan-Humanitri, and Good Samaritan-ANCHORS-Humanitri.
