Over the past few years, Gateway has promoted holiday giving called "Kids Caring for Kids" emphasizing the work of young people across our community who sponsor special holiday giving programs to benefit homeless families, women and children.  Various groups in schools, churches, and community organizations organize food, cash, hygiene item, and school supplies drives that help Gateway better serve homeless people and move them into safe, secure housing.

Your group can help Gateway Homeless Services staff and volunteers restock its warehouse at 3965 Park Avenue and care for those in need during the holdiay time.  Holiday programming at the shelter will also provide toys and other gifts to families in our shelter.

Gateway extends its thanks to the many organizations and groups sponsoring and developingf the holiday campaign and we look forward to a partnership with many throughout our community as we seek to make this holiday season a special one for those in need.

In November of each year, the Holiday Giving Campaign officially kick-offs with the Homeless Awareness Month educational opportunities.
